"A sure sign of Christian maturity is not how well you avoid conflict, but how you respond to conflict. For example, immature Christians are quick to take offense and slow to forgive and seek reconciliation; while mature Christians are slow to take offense and quick to forgive and seek reconciliation." Book
Research in Principles of Life Basic Seminar Textbook
By Bill Gothard
This book is a good read especially when you are working through life issues and relational conflicts. It covers theology, psychology, and counseling in clear, simple, and easy to follow formats. This can be used by anybody, counselor or not. There is a special section in the book on forgiveness and reconciliation. I think it is one of the best pieces of Biblical advice I have read.
